One disadvantage to owning a lifted truck with wide tires is they can tend to wander a bit, especially with ruts and bumps in the road. The simplest way to circumvent this issue is with a quality, heavy duty steering stabilizer kit, such as this system from BDS that includes a mounting bracket and a pair of Fox Performance Series stabilizer shocks.
*IMPORTANT FITMENT NOTE: System will only work on vehicles with T-Style Steering. All 2008.5+ model Rams have this from the factory, and most 2003-2008 models have been retrofitted with this from the original Y-Style Steering. If you have a 2003-2008 model year and are uncertain as to which steering you have, look at how the current steering stabilizer mounts. If it is mounted using two u-bolts and a plate at the center of the tie rod, then you have the T-Style Steering and this kit is for you. However, if your current stabilizer mounts using a stud through a hole in the middle of the tie rod, then you have the Y-Style Steering and this kit will not work. Please contact us if you have any fitment questions.

Will this work with the synergy had steering setup that you sell? I have the synergy and the synergy steering damper but it’s not enough and am looking for a dual dampener setup.?
Hi Dane This system is intended to be used with the stock Mopar "T-Style Steering". While the Synergy HD Steering is a "T-Style Steering," it will not bolt right up. Biggest issue is the bracket that utilizes the factory adjustment sleeve on the drivers side tie-rod. The Synergy HD Steering simply does not have it. People have found ways around it, however, no off-the-shelf adapter or product currently exists for it. SO! Can you make it work? YES- With some work on your end. Hope that helps. -Ben
Will this stabilizer kit fit a 2016 ram 2500? It says 2008.5 an up but in the does it fit ur rig it only says up to 13??
Hi James No, this system will not work on the 14+ trucks. If you have a 13 or a 14 and are unsure, look at your front suspension. You will either have a pair of radius arms connecting the axle to the frame (12/13+) or a set of control arms. If your truck has control arms, which would be an upper and a lower arm connecting the axle to the truck, on both sides, and you have the Mopar "T-Style Steering," this will bolt right up. -Ben
The product description says 03-13 2500 but the instructions say 08-12. I have a 13 2500 so will this fit properly??
Your 2013 Ram 2500 should have control arms in the front, which means this kid from BDS will fit. If you have radius arms, then it will not. -Ben
