The 6.7L Cummins Diesel is the most powerful engine ever installed into a Dodge Ram to date. The engine itself has proven itself to be extremely reliable, as with most Cummins engines, and has the ability to tow and operate very well under its factory parameters. However, as with all things, stock parameters are designed for the masses, and typically don’t give everything that each individual truck owner is looking for out of their truck.
Who wouldn’t want additional horsepower to pull that heavy load or outrun that Camaro from the light? Or what about a set of integrated digital gauges in order to monitor vital engine parameters? And let’s not forget about the fuel economy that can be gained from adding a chip or programmer to your engine. With fuel prices continually on the rise, the right tuner for your truck can quickly pay for itself.
There are many different brands and styles of programmers for your 6.7L Cummins. Whether it be the notorious Smarty Touch that features the infamous CaTCHER software and Torque Management, or an Edge Evolution CTS2 featuring an LCD touch screen and expandable interface. Or maybe you're simply after eliminating the drive-by-wire delay in throttle response which can be remedied by a BD Throttle Sensitivity Booster. Nearly all of the power enhancing modules we provide feature multiple power levels that allow you to select what suits your particular driving style and condition. Many tuners even come equipped with built in digital gauges that allow you to monitor such parameters as EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature), boost, rail pressure, and many other vitals.
