Big Bang Injection was formed at the request of accomplished engine software tuning guru Marco , of MADS Electronics, SMARTY fame. After extensive testing and research of existing aftermarket performance injector options, none were found to be built to an acceptable standard, when utilized in an extreme performance application. Marco clearly saw a need in the aftermarket, for a top shelf injector with consistencies, tolerances and calibrations, as good as, and better, than OEM quality.
Unable to locate a suitable existing product, Marco sought out, the best of the best, leaders in the field of Common Rail Fuel Injection Technology. Two years later, after thousands of dynamometer runs, and tens of thousands of street driven miles, BBi is READY. Big Bang Injection has come to market with every intention to dominate.
Each injector set is built with new components and are tested against one another to flow within 2% tolerance of each other to deliver even distribution across the cylinders. Every injector is also further tested to ensure an exacting spray angle, as well as equal hole size and pattern to deliver consistent fuel distribution within the piston bowls for a complete combustion. Further, BBi sought out to correct some of the short falls of the Cummins Common Rail injector that caused premature failures. Not only have they accomplished such a feat, but they have identified and cured the common injector rattle issues that have plagued them for years. That's correct, these injectors will NOT rattle like every other common rail injector on the market.
You will also notice that these injectors do NOT require a core charge like every other manufacturer. Big Bang Injection builds new injectors and does not reuse injector parts that are known to fail, hence, why would they want your cores back like everyone else?
These Stage 1 injectors from BBi are built to flow an additional 24% over your stock injectors. The nozzle flow rate of each injector is set to 76.2 l/h at a pressure of 100bar, in comparison to the stock injectors that flow at 61.8 l/h/100bar. Even though these injectors are claimed as "Stage 1," they are still capable of a whopping 700 rear wheel horsepower, while being VERY streetable.
For those that will be running the engine at higher RPM's, we also offer these injectors with the same high RPM internal modifications that the Stage 4 Competition injectors carry. The High RPM modifications are specifically targeted at delivering enhanced throttle response and maximum performance at high RPM's for competition use.
Why aren't there Stage 2, 3, or 4 injectors for 2004.5-2007 Cummins?
Due to a change in the spray angle and piston bowl design of the 04.5-07 Cummins compared to the 03-04 Cummins, BBi was unable to meet their strict quality control standards, thus decided to not offer anything above a Stage 1.5, which will flow 88.2 l/h, and able to support up to 850 RWHP. For those that are after higher power numbers, you can swap out the pistons to the 03-04 version with the ideal bowl design/spray angle and utilize the 03-04 injectors for an optimum setup.

Will i need to upgrade my turb and/or fueling system? If so what would be the recommended minimum upgrades??
ideally you would want to upgrade the turbo but it is not required. depending on the quality of tuning you have on the truck.
Do these come with new crossover tubes or do those still need to be purchased separately??
Those still need to be purchased separately. We recommend the Bosch tubes. SA
