I was looking to free up the back pressure that the factory muffler creates. The factory exhaust is 4 inch and flow plenty for the power I want to make on my truck being it has to be emissions compliant. My only other requirement was it could not make the truck annoying loud or drown on the freeway. This Muffler is very mild sounds great. Install was pretty easy. Hardest part was removing the factory exhaust some ugh ugh happy person really clamped down on my factory clamps. I did have to cut somewhere between 4-6 inches off the tail pipe section. My truck is a 06 crew cab short bed.

Excellent muffler. Good throaty sound. Easy install using factory hangers.

Very impressed. Over 600 miles and have gained at least 1 mpg. A little more but I haven't worked the detailed math yet. Kept truck quite with a little growl. No cab drone

It was what I wanted

I put this kit on my 2005 3500 Laramie quad cab with an 8' box. The kit works perfectly and sounds good. Clamp bolts are plenty long. The only thing I had to do to make it fit, was cut 3 1/4"" off of the tailpipe at the inlet end. This was no big deal as that end had rusted a small hole in it. So actually it was good to have a little extra. Great kit and price. Thanks

Used this to replace my stock muffler. Had to cut a couple inches off but better to have extra than not enough. Easy install.

Very easy to install. Had to cut about 3 inches of the tail pipe to accommodate a the two pieces. All of the hangers lined up correctly and went together great. Clamps worked good as well.
