From the time I was born the smell of diesel was in our home and part of my life. It reminds me of my late father and his hard work as a local Journeyman lineman for 35 years.
I was a trained somatic therapist and licensed Massage therapist for 20 years. I know just how my love of diesel trucks made its way into my system. Living in Colville and then in Wilbur he would bring his truck home every night so there was always a time for our family to prepare for his arrival! It was always a treat to go for a ride in his big rig. The smell of the cab and how powerful it felt to be a part of it. This was also true about the Wheat trucks in Wilbur. Seeing them, hearing them and the way they moved in and out of town in the heat of the summer along with the boys vying for attention in the school parking lot all year long. Now I love hearing our locals roll into the warehouse to pick up parts. Makes me feel young again! They call this Euphoric recall. It is exciting to be part of this highly valued machine that keeps the world running on diesel power. I look forward to my future with DPP utilizing my strengths in customer service and product knowledge to keep this motor with big hearts and goals running.
