 Lifted trucks that use a drop bracket for the radius arms can replace both the drop bracket and the radius arm for a nice clean installation. When a drop bracket is installed, it adds leverage to the factory bracket. This can cause an unstable feeling, and in some catastrophic cases, this can even cause the bracket to actually sheer the radius arm mount off the frame.
