Custom Honed Bosch Injectors for 03-04 5.9L Dodge Cummins
If you're looking for a set of performance injectors for your Cummins, keep reading.
Bosch / Cummins / Dodge has notoriously had injector failure issues on
the Common Rail Dodge trucks. The problem persisted so much that Bosch
redesigned the injectors to a new stainless steel body in Fall of 2009.
So here's the problem, when you buy aftermarket performance injectors,
they are typically going to be remanufactured injectors from somewhere other than Bosch, which means
you're getting the older style Bosch injectors which are prone to
failure. At the very least, you're getting used, locally remanufactured
injectors.

Custom Honed Injectors
2003-04 5.9L Dodge Cummins
The
absolute BEST performance injector will start out as a new Bosch
injector, and then be flowed and matched as a set, not hundreds of
injectors at a time that "should" match. That's where we come in. We
offer custom honed injectors that we get directly from Bosch that are
flowed one set at a time upon each individual order. We have the
capability to take a stock injectors that will flow an average of 23 lpm
(litres per minute) and run a media through it which will hone the
nozzle to either 27 lpm or 29 lpm, depending on what we want the outcome
to be. An injector flowed at 27 lpm will typically net an average of
50 horsepower over stock, and 29 lpm will produce about 90 horsepower
over stock.
For those looking to gain some fuel economy and power, but not wanting
to produce tons of power or have to upgrade the CP3 injection pump, then
the 50 horsepower would be best suited. For those looking to gain
appreciable power and are not opposed to upgrading the CP3 or at least
install an Arson III CP3 upgrade kit, then the 90 horsepower hone would
be best.
If you already have known good injectors and want a little (or a lot)
increase, we can also take your existing injectors and hone and balance
them. If you are unsure of the integrity of your injectors, you can
always send them in, because we will test them prior to honing to make
sure they are not too badly worn. If this option is best for you,
simply choose the "Your Injectors - Custom Hone." If you are sending in
your injectors, be sure to include your e-mail address at the checkout
screen, this way we can e-mail you a UPS call tag so you don't have to
pay any of the freight to us or back to you.
But if you want to go the best way and get Bosch injectors,
choose the "New Injectors - Custom Hone." Under each variant is a drop
down screen for you to choose what horsepower level you would like to
see. There is no additional cost between 50 and 90 horsepower.
Bosch Advantage:
The advantage to being rebuilt by Bosch is they have the ability to
completely "gut" these injectors from input to output to ensure they are
as
close to new as possible. The only "Remanufactured" part of these
injectors is the housing. All internals are brand new and put together
the right way by Bosch. There's no reason to pay enormous costs at
the dealer. True Brand New Injectors are not available except for
directly on a new truck. If you can get a Brand New Injector, the cost
is usually about $800-900 per injector.
Core Charge:
These injectors require a $900 core charge each that you are
required to pay at the time of purchase. Don't worry, because the replacement injectors are directly from Bosch, the condition of your cores is not
important. We process the cores in-house so we can get your refund to
you within 2 business days of receiving them, not months like some other
places
